This bill requires cities to provide more notice and opportunities for input from citizens and stakeholders, requires a higher vote threshold for the adoption of the moratorium, and limits moratoriums to a certain number of days. These moratoriums shut down development, construction and all other jobs related to our industry. This bill goes into effect 9/1/2025. This is a big win for our industry!
